ndp07 – better than prev years

i’m not sure if ndp07 was better than other ndp-s, maybe due to a change of environment/atmosphere, but hey, ndp07 ain’t half bad!

my mom got some tickets from the “cca branch” (based on what she said) and yeah, i got to watch the preview today. today’s preview is for primary 5 students - ”national education (NE)”.

i can still recall the ndp i attended when i was pri5. yepyep. 

anyway back to topic. my mom, lil bro and i, had a really difficult time getting to marina bay itself. being singaporeans who watched “live earth” – we took public transport instead of getting our dad to fetch us. actually, our dad refused to fetch us, thats why we took public transpot.

yeah and originally, we could get there via marina bay mrt station. but nooo, there wasn’t an exit there. so we had to take the train back up to city hall and yeah, we eventually got there (:

good thing we didnt miss the meat of the preview.

i got really frustrated when i got there. technically, we had to walk through mazes just to get to the entrace of the ndp. it only got worse when the helpers got really fucked up - in a sense they weren’t properly briefed – and directed us to wrong places.

we had white cards – vip cards – and yeah, we got lost finding the right staircase. i mean come on, WE’RE “VIPs” (okay maybe not)

but yeah, when i seated down on my not-so-comfty chair, i was relieved. i was happy. 

and oh yeah, i so wanna be in the camera crew for ndp08. i’ve got a passion for photography. i took some pictues of the fireworks at marina bay, i’ll upload them tomorrow.

gotta find my micro sd card adapter. anyway, GOOD NIGHT! (:

prize giving day rehearsal was today and i had a so-so time there. simply because i managed to skip 3 periods of lessons (2period of maths, 1period of CLB). furthermore, i couldn’t stop talking while we were waiting for our names to be called by the student announcers

my first ever prize giving day is next sat. do(n’t) come and support me yeah? (:
oh and during the rehearsal, guess whose hand we had to shake?

OH MY GAWD IS WAS DESMOND SOH. everyone went like (wtf?!?!??!)

when i shook his hand, i was like “eee, his hand so sweaty!!” its the truth, desmond soh to us is some kind of gay who goes out with some female teacher from sch for lunch. AND IF WE WERE TO SHAKE HIS HAND…OMGAWD WHAT WOULD THAT MAKE US << based on reliable sources (:

during rehearsal, he was shouting “don’t squeeze too hard”!

and when i walked up to him, he went “wah, top for amaths seh! how about emaths?”
that made me went “i did the express syllabus, how on earth would i be able to top emaths. afterall, i topped emaths in 3n1 last yr, for emaths express that is…yepyep haha

but what the heck, i’m getting 4 awards in just 2 hours next sat and yeah, i’m pretty happy. cause this is my first ever prize giving day in my 16-years of life. don’t count the edusave scholarship thing yea? (:

anyway, we got news that prelims will be easy.

and i’d say BULLSHIT.
