warning: this is a long post.
i think i’ll take a few hours to complete this blog post. let’s see…it’s 233am now. haha. yep. i just got back from hong kong. haven’t really unpacked my bag fully cause i didn’t want to disturb everyone in my house with the noise that i’m gonna make.
if you were wondering, hong kong was great. there’s only one reason why it was great/fun. it’s because i was able to let my hair down and act as a 6 year-old running crazily around disneyland.
the only reason why i’m up now is because our flight got delayed by 1hour10mins. if not, i would be in bed by now. i’ll show you guys some photos now. i’ll go in chronological order so that i can continue my train of thoughts in a proper manner.

the first banner that i saw upon arrival at the airport. it says: “Relax. Train (Transfer train between arrival gate and immigration) comes every 2 minutes“.

sights like this is VERY common in hong kong. this picture was taken at Mong Kok, Kowloon. To tell you the truth, i didn’t see any trees anywhere near where we were. thus, the haze we saw from the distance earlier that day…
let me present to you, my first LUNCH in Hong Kong!

it’s beef noodles with milk tea. i think. no wait. it’s duck noodles. ((:
after we were done, we went back to the MTR station (that’s MRT for you in SG!) and checkout the ticket! (i got bored at that time)

the MTR one-way ticket.
then towards the night…shaun became a bad bad boy!

shaun was caught on camera, drinking beer! nah i’m just kidding. i was drinking sparkling grape juice! ((:
i’m done with day 1. (time check: 245am)
DAY 2.
i didn’t know that 19nov was election day for hong kong. but heh, i took this photo cause i thought it was kinda cool.

if i had the power to vote, i would vote the most handsome guy, cause i’m a guy. (being a sexist here! ;p)

heh i found the one of the SDA church in HK. ((:
HEY YOU KNOW WHAT? i didn’t know this, but there’s a MTR station so-called named after me!
don’t believe me? well, let me tell you this first. it’s a chinese culture that you read words from right to left. okay?
i trust you on that. ((:

see, i told you i didn’t lie. there’s a station named after me! (if you read it right to left, it’s “King Lai“)

i couldn’t help it but to do an angle shot.

this is how crowded the train was
and yuhong asked me to pose for the camera with this really weird face. seriously, i’m gonna regret posting this up…but oh well.

>< i shouldn’t have posted it here. oh wells,
DAY 3. (time check: 250am)
“WELCOME TO HONGKONG DISNEYLAND”
i’ll let the pictures do the talking. all i have to say is: i wished you were there.

this is proof!
check out my entry ticket:

hey! it’s Donald duck!
well, there was only one roller coaster there, called “space mountain”. and in space mountain, i saw a chris soh look-a-like there.

if you know Chris Soh, you should be agreeing with me that he looks like him!
it has been slightly more or less than 2 years since i last sat on a roller coaster. and after sitting on a simple ride that simply moves up and down scares me, i wonder about the roller coaster.
i was really afraid when i saw the roller coaster itself at first, because i simply didn’t know what to expect. it was only a matter of time when i was strapped into the roller coaster and then…the ride began.
the huge junk of metal started moving forward and the staffs there were checking whether we were secured, strapped into the seat.
and then…it all began. it started out pitch black. i started to worry more when the roller coaster started climbing…and climbing and climbing. the good thing about this was that the sound coordination was perfect. i can’t possibly tell you know yeah. it’s almost 3am ><
it only took 3 climbs for me to get super afraid – hoping to expect a super deep fall. but no…there wasn’t much falls. it was mainly focused on turbulence and speed.
when the coaster got back to the station, it was only a matter of time when i shouted “LET’S GO AGAIN!”.
i swear, i took that ride ~6 times.
and to think that i was afraid at first. ><
oh and, kodak camera picture of the day. ><

i was screaming like a crazy pig on purpose. i’m serious!
FIREWORKS DISPLAY.
here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure:

DAY 4. (time check: 259am)
how cool is it to find a coke can with a coke bottle shaped barcode?

((: here’s proof. haha
crap, the other photos are all in the other cameras i used. SEND THOSE PHOTOS TO ME!
i’ll startup an online album of my misadventures in hong kong later on when i have the time and photos.
oh yes. one last photo. to avoid being caught for using your mp3 and to enjoy pitch darkness and sleep well, here was what i did.

if you can’t see, if was hiding below my jacket listening to my ipod shuffle while i had the headsets from cathay pacific outside. it’s the best disguise ever. i slept well because i had darkness!
UNTIL NEXT TIME,
i had so much fun in hong kong. it would be better if you were there. thank you for talking to me when you could. ((:

i will let the clouds do the crying for me. »« i am back!
