fun day out.
i’m really thankful for friends who do stuffs that make you laugh which sorta brightens up your day. christmas is approaching fast, but i’m not feeling the ‘merry christmas’ feeling i’ve always felt annually.
maybe it’s because of SOME teacher that forced us to come down and help do up her homeroom on christmas eve. i deserve an expensive gift from school. i’ve worked so hard and i deserve a pay rise! (:
richmond and the rest should understand how i feel. we feel the exact same thing.
went to watch alvin and the chipmunks today with richmond and oh boy, i’m so in love with the movie. well…for now. it’s just amusing that 3 chipmunks can sing and dance and that pretty…makes me…i’ll keep ‘that’ word to myself. (:
after the movie, we went down to bowling over at kovan. richmond and i had a little competition. played 2 games each where the first game would be a warm-up and the second game would be a match.
the loser for the match would pay for the winner’s match game. guess who won?
at first, jonald thought richmond would win. i shared the same thoughts with jonald. well…the warm-up game was pretty bad for me. i threw 6 long-kangs for the first 3 frames with richmond hitting 7-9 pins. i kinda embarrassed myself infront of the girls who were playing on the lane next to us.
not till i got my aim right and started scoring strikes!
in the end, i won the warm-up game by a 5-pinfall advantage.
we then moved on to the match round. by now, my middle finger’s muscle started aching – which meant that i couldn’t push the ball properly. i had to make several adjustments such that i could try and get some strikes.
the adjustments did work, but whenever i took the lead, like when i scored a strike or a spare, i would only score a 1-pin or a long-kang on the next throw. which kinda sucks cause there was one point i was trailing richmond by so many pinfalls.
fortunately, i managed to throw 3 strikes in that game and take over the lead. i ended the game with richmond trailing by 39 pinfalls? haha. i rule yoo!
i’m so gonna compete with him again on monday.
and during cell just now, we practised for tomorrow’s sabbath school skit and boy did we have fun. i had to take over my brother’s role and i wasn’t confident of saying ‘SIAN’ the way he did.
but with all the genes that he and i had, i tried my best…and i ended up with an angry ‘SIAN’ instead of a ‘SIAN’ sian. you get my point.
well, tomorrow’s the day.
till next time,
