sec1 orientation camp!
well. i’ll just summarise yesterday’s and today’s (up till 624am) into one word. hectic.
this is what i mean:
i had never pictured the saints cafe to be so crowded on it’s soft launch. i mean, i did expect lots of sec1s to buy from the cafe. boy was it stressful working on the cash register. but i’m so glad that we’re done and over with the soft launch of the cafe.
if i’m not wrong, the cafe made a profit of 300 over bucks? it isn’t that much, but i’m pretty happy with the amount.
then it was on to assisting the SSL with the sec1 orientation camp. seriously, they need help for this camp. 3 letters- CMI.
there’s only 1 thing that i remember about last night.
me. a microphone infront of me. by now, you should know what i mean yeah! if not, i’ll just tell you the end result.
i started quoting teachers with phrases like “one die, all die” in desperate attempt to get the sec1s to sleep. richmond suggested to ‘switch off the fans’ as one of the threats to the sec1s.
it did work for a moment though…until after a few minutes when the sec1s realised i wasn’t really gonna switch off the fans. - they’re only sec1s, must be nice ‘kor kor’s yeah! :p
but still, i had fun being the big voice in the hall. ((:
and i only slept 2hours today and stink like crazy. i wanna go home )):
