2nd last first day of school

i’ll treat it as the last first day of school cause happy times are over and it’s now back to work. school today was pretty alright. it’s neither good nor bad.

lemme show you why it’s bad:

new timetable! don’t know why it’s bad? well…maybe the next 2 photos will tell the whole story

free periods are highlighted in yellow. notice that the free periods are EVERY WHERE? there’s only one day when there’s consecutive free periods. other than that, it suckssss!

friday ain’t slack no more!

you might wanna compare it with the old timetable.

the first two days of the first semester timetable is the besssstttt.

oh well, good times are over. =[

THEN AGAIN.

my school's alumni scholarship application...IS SUCCESSFUL!!! according to the list (in all, 7 students were accepted) and i'm the only 5N student accepted. and guess what, the remaining 6 students are from 4SA!

do you know what this means! =D~~

but i hefta go for an interview first...i'm preparing myself mentally for it.

report 610pm!!!!!!!!!!!!! =[

oh and during CLB class, i learnt a few new words!

the second picture shows how to pronounce the word 'polytechnic' in CHINESE.

i feel smart. =]

random picture of the day, and possibly the week:

stand up, my minion water bottles, rise to your new master!

YESTERDAY.

here’s yesterday’s post combined :D (since i dont wanna create 2 posts)

morning was pretty slow, played guitar hero and i got kinda pissed off while trying to learn “Don’t Hold Back” (Hard difficulty). The mistakes i made…gawd it’s irritating.

but the irritation didn’t last as i went to the movies with kaylin, joyce, rudy and kor. Get Smart is definitely a value-for-money movie, a must watch. if you haven’t got the hint, GO WATCH IT NOW DAMMIT.

now i gotta wait for the ironman DVD, or issit out? hmmm,

after that, i went to play badminton with nate, doca TAN and the 3 of us (rudy, kor and myself) at marine parade CC. on the way there, we dropped kaylin off first and guess what she kept talking about in the car:

holiday homework. hehehehe.

i haven’t started much into the homework issued…haha. hopefully she’s doing well :p

badminton was grrrreeeeaaatt. but i needa play a little longer. 1hour15mins is tooo short. =[

here's 2 photos i took

hmm,

after badminton, we went for dinner at old airport followed by bowling. (i hope kaylin is reading this :p)

BOWLING WAS AWESOME WITH MY NEW BALL. played 3 games in total, with my total score for each game above 130. i feeeeeel good =] and hyped up too.

i’m done with the class comm work that i hefta do. and i have this to say: YSW will be slightly happier this term. hehe.

until then,

thoughts of the week

Categories: Christian, quote of the day.

since i don’t have the time to blog about today’s movie outing (i had a fun day =]), i thought it would be nice to share some nice quote of the day (christian/God-related).

IMO, i think it’s kinda nice.

Here they are:

There is a book where
death comes before life
And there’s another book
that offers eternal life
Which book would you choose?
Have a great week ahead!”

- shaunie(:

obviously, the thoughts were structured to be sent out at the start of the week.

here’s another,

If Jesus were to knock on your
house door now,
would you be there to greet him?

Or would you be in your room playing
Guitar Hero?

Have a great week ahead!”

Likewise for the first one, i meant to structure it to be sent via sms. I’ll be sending either of them out to my church youths tomorrow. I’m still considering which one haha.

Oh and, with reference to the second one,

NOW YOU KNOW WHY MY XBOX IS IN THE HOUSE LIVING ROOM!

till then,

camwhoring with my little brother

this has got to be the weirdest post ever on this blog. i mean seriously, i’m gonna post up pictures of my little brother. wowee.

saturday will always be saturday. which means church service followed by meetings after meetings. sucks being the youth leader, but it’s part and parcel of the job.

jack’s place (at united square) successfully wasted AT LEAST 35-minutes of my life today. their service totally sucked. it took them 25-minutes to serve us our cup of 7-up. i was so tempted to rate them poorly on the feedback form.

but i’d consider them lucky cause my mom spoke to the manager of the restaurant. i was so tempted to tick ‘poor’ for “your overall experience with us today”. if you wanna know how bad it was, i was wishing they had a “terrible” column on the form.

okay. now. photos. james. me. jam juice!

omg(osh)wtf(ridge)BBQ(ue)!!!
i look soooo gheeyy.

james trying to dodge the camera! james FAILED! failed with the ‘P’.

shaun waiting impatiently.

james took really gay-looking photos of me. i’ve one more of me! hehehe.

after all the waiting, i thought the food that i got was delicious. here’s a photo of it!

steak!

at first, i was telling my mom i didn’t want to eat beef (steak) anymore because of the consequences that may come along with eating it. but i fell into the hands of temptation and went ahead and order what you see above.

IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!! =[

the final photo.

i think the wait for the steak was quite worth it - it was delicious (chewy). then again, mom paid 23 bucks for it, for a reason.

movie and pool outing with rudy, kaylin, joyce and POSSIBLY, kor tomorrow. let's see how things go =]

till then,

it felt like…

Categories: lollerskates, pictures!, retrospect.

it fells like 2 hours since i last posted that i had 1 week left of my june holidays. and the thought of school on monday is just horrifying.

but the thought that follows it quite soothing. the final 5 months (or so) in school…what an achievement. then again, hearing my friends in their respective polytechnics makes me wanna study overseas. anyway, i’ve got lots and lots of photos to show you guys (some from yesterday). so do bear with me as i share it with you!

i’ll let the photos tell the story.

i was supposed to check stock and some other chairman-stuffs yesterday (thursday) while i was at school. but i ended up playing x-hero siege somewhere else

LAN Party + mentos = 24 hours working mind for lan gaming =]

TODAY:

i caught the movie “Don’t Mess with the Zohan” with Dhinesh, Jimmy and Calvin at Junction 8 (bishan)

A quick sidenote, the movie is rated NC16. and it’s one of the few NC16 movies that i’ve watched…since turning sixteen…sigh me.

anyway,

jimmy eating his burger. he tried tempting me, but failed miserably.

as in, FAIL with a P. it’s that bad. =]

you’ll need to rotate your head, i’m too lazy to do it for you haha. it’s captain calvin cheung with his fish burger! HE TRIED TEMPTING ME TOO!

what kind of friends do i have sia

i couldn’t help myself when i saw my fellow penguins on this vitasoy packet at NTUC!!!!

jimmy be handsome

dhinesh be wearing tincan

dhinesh trying on the vest at topshop. and it’s something that i’ll never ever buy, alongside women’s secret

jimmy be handsome again. and jimmy be wearing vest. and jimmy be wearing hat.

TODAY: after cell.

i decided to take the longer route (it took freaking 1hour to get back home!) instead of the usual 16-then-transfer-to-bus-31 route. but since i missed the direct bus home, i thought to myself, why not be a singaporean and follow the “value for money” rule.

so yeah, here’s a photo of lights near the singapore indoor stadium.

i’m kinda surprised my phone took a nice shot of the scene. there wasn’t much to see actually…it was pitch black most of the time. well…sometimes. ALRIGHT! THERE WAS NOTHING TO SEE.

the reward when i got home:

SALMON SASHIMI HEAVEN! kor finally had the opportunity to drive down to woodlands to buy the good stuff: salmon sashimi at wholesale price. i’m very thankful for him :D i enjoyed eating 1/6 of what you see above.

THERE’S STILL A LOT MORE FROM WHERE THAT CAME FROM!

i feel the pressure. and the above costs only 15 bucks. how cool is that!

church service tomorrow, i gotta sleep early tonight. oh and, i finally got my hair trimmed. :D

i’ll be a happy student when school reopens on monday. shaunie be happy. =]

and rach, smile. =]

till then,
