FREEDOM FRIDAY.

you might be thinking, what is freedom friday?

think of it as if i’m fighting for my ‘liberal rights‘. something like the tamils in Sri Lanka fighting for their independence. to begin with, freedom friday (9jan2009) will effectively be my last friday that i’ll be free (ie no school). as such, i’ve to make sure tomorrow will be the time of my life.

HOWEVER (or but – there’s always one), a totally free day doesn’t come so easily. i’ve 2 meetings tomorrow and it’ll strip my freedom rights away for tomorrow (well, for the whole of the afternoon and evening that is).

we’ll see how things go tomorrow.

poly open house.
the poly open house(s) are on the way with every poly except republic having things on today.

today, the group (richmond, calvin, jonald and myself) led by the leader, yiwei, visited 2 polys: nanyang poly and ngee ann. i don’t know how or why i ended up at the latter.

as usual, jonald was busy with his handphone en route ngee ann. he was probably selling off some useless shares in the china stock market at that time. (or maybe he was busy firing people(linkable link brings you a bbc site page)

we didn’t do much at ngee ann. in fact, to me, it was a complete waste of time.

we spent most of the time idling around.

after standing around like complete fools for 30minutes, we decided to head on down to an air-conditioned place before heading off to home.

special teacher-guest appearance.
actually, there are 2 special teacher-guests making their debut on my blog tonight.

one of them is, in my opinion, a very passionate teacher by heart. he’s, obviously, a teacher by profession and he’s none other than the physics teacher who taught me when my own physics teacher dumped me.

and here’s the other teacher who may seem serious at times, is actually a joker at heart.

well, it’s not really a mystery actually. unless you consider yuhong hiding in the bushes as one good mystery, it’s very easy to guess what, where and when this photo was taken.

the bbq that happened on 29th dec

if your dad (or mom/guardian/pet cat) were to tell you a horror story, they’d probably start with a cliche beginning.

and guess, what, i’m gonna start with one of those cliche openings.

continuing from the title: the bbq that happened on 29th dec. and i live to tell the story.

it all started with that faithful day…

30 minutes before the apparent infection:

this is probably the last photo taken before the infected got infected (See what i did there? :p)

7 days after the infection

humans with various faces and blood type started displaying weird symptoms. with bodies half-submerged in water (which contained substance one would call chlorine): it was a sign of more bad things to come…

soon after, this happened:

looks can be deceiving. you may think he (the guy on the left) is a human. in reality, he’s not. he comes from a family related to harry potter. don’t believe me? go wikipedia this guy.

too bad i don’t know his real name for you to wikipedia.

thereafter, things got worse. what seems like star wars fever hitting town was actually the infection getting into their brains. i only knew better to get away from them.

almost immediately after the above shot was taken, things got back to normal.

or so i thought everything was back to normal…

i wanted to get out. too bad i was locked in. i had to find the key master in order to get out. however…the key master was no where to be found.

so i stayed on.

everything was fine until the evening time when the infected lit up a fire

it was one of those daejavu moments: i’ve seen it before! but why aren’t i able to expect what to happen next?

very soon, the flame got out of hand. and the infected started showing signs of the infections. they were setting things on fire. some of those things exploded and worse still: they were still hungry for more.

i knew i was in deep trouble. so i had to put out the fire as quickly as i could. but i was quickly spotted by some “humans”

immediately, they got hold of me and bit me on the right arm. and so…i became infected!! fortunately for me, i had vaccinated myself, with the medicine months before i ended up at the dreaded place, to prevent myself from getting infected.

and the medicine worked. but in order for me to escape, i had to pretend to be like one of them. i had to get out desperately: before they discover that i wasn’t infected at all.

what ever happened to them? i don’t know. but definitely, i came out alive to tell the story.

heh. what a cliche end to a story eh? anyway, everything i said above was filled with total crap. seems like left 4 dead mania has hit my semi-rotten brain.

oh well. anyway, we celebrated yiwei’s 17th birthday on the 29th. though it’s very late to wish him now…better late than never yea?

happy belated 17th birthday yiwei! you’re so slow that by the time you realise you’re 17, your hair would have grown an inch!

i have to sincerely apologise, if you’re an intrigued reader of my blog, for not being able to blog as much as i would like to during this period.

i’m just too caught up with so many projects that my efficiency level has dropped drastically. i’ll work my ass off to get it up. but for the time being, this post will definitely be delivered on sunday. =]

- the Singapore Pro Shootout which will be taking place on the 8th february 2009 (the rules was done up by me – good quality shit right!!)
- sgwargames website revamp
- xtc website revamp

these are the current 3 major projects. and i’m struggling really badly with them. i need desperate help in order to keep up with expectations and ultimately, the deadline.

oh wait, maybe this post could count as a blog post! since (according to the word count at this point), has at least 160 words.

but of course, i’m not your cheapskate average singaporean who takes shortcuts by producing low quality shit. pictures of last monday’s bbq (see how slow i am!!) coming soon.
