RAWR!

the friday post

i was supposed to post this last friday. but i procrastinated and eventually, got lazy to post them up.

in fact, i procrastinated so much that this post is gonna include a little bit about poly experience which took place yesterday 2 weeks ago

Photo655
on the 2nd day of poly experience, my first day of duty, i was literally “Mr Happy” about it. i couldn’t wait to start my duty

inside the convention centre, when the school students were being entertained by the program…

one of the performers was new revolving age (NRA), a CCA in ngee ann. their performance stole the limelight. they were so good that i wanted to watch them again on my 2nd day of duty.

last friday was definitely one of the most chaotic days i’ve ever experience. i was late for quite a number of things. friday was the deadline for the OBSE group journal, gym orientation (the day that i finally signed up), np scholarship and something else after that (which i can’t remember)

i was late for the gym orientation. thankfully, they allowed me to join the group (or i’ll to choose another day to come down for gym orientation – something that i’ll never do)

after that, i went to finish up my group’s OB project

i think it was jun hoa who was playing with my phone. heh.

after that, i met muthu at the IT Helpdesk at block 72. there, something epic happened – the blonde moment of my life.

i called benedict and asked him, “benedict, what’s your name? i need to write it down”. after that, muthu couldn’t stop teasing me for the rest of the day.

after leaving the IT helpdesk, we roamed around NP to print out my group’s team journal. we went to ourspace first, but there was a power trip when we were trying to get it printed (awesome right?)

so we had to go to canteen 2, which was a LONG LONG walk. after we were finally done getting the work printed, muthu was already 30minutes late for his class (SERVES HIM RIGHT FOR TEASING ME!)

after that, i went to hand up my work. by then, i was already late for the np scholarship. i was supposed to report to the convention centre at 250pm. but i was still walking to the business block then.

the np scholarship ceremony took place last friday (yes, it was quite recent) and i’m proud to be one of the scholars to receive the scholarship.

it also means obligations to do well academically and in CCAs as well.

however, there’s a thorn among the roses in the list of people who got the scholarship

(this isn’t the post that i had initially wanted to put up first – but i’ll put it up anyway)

i went back to st andrews to give some POA help to the kids who are participating in the upcoming NAQ. they are pretty much overconfident – no wonder KBC’s cries of desperation

anyway, i went back to the homeroom that i studied in and i found the room’s “house rules” that i designed for the class last year.

total of 6 of them

instantly, this photo caught my attention

if you can read the caption: “If everyone kept quiet in class…one thousand penguins could be saved
It basically meant: keep quiet. but i was reminded about my obsession about penguins then (and i’m still obsessed with them)

the concluding poster

i miss the good old days.
