better late than never, yeah? :D if you agree, then read on :D

WOOHOO, THE EXAMS ARE OVER! it’s time to celebrate and party our asses off to the 7-week (well, technically we have 6 weeks left) holidays!

still, it’s very little time. i’ve got a lot to do! one of them is blogging ;D but for this post, i’ll recap about the recent happenings for the past 2-3 weeks

oh and, because the nature of this post is so long, i PROMISE to use as little words as possible

immediate celebration
immediately after my last paper, hua xiang, muthu and myself went to celebrate the end of our exams. we were supposed to look at guitars, but we ended up doing other things like..

play pool!
ceb-1
ceb-2

we also watched a movie (GI Joe), played lan (we played at colosseum) and played more lan at night.

ambass welfare camp
well, it was kinda short, but it was awfully tiring walking from school (ngee ann) to vivocity. but i definitely had fun.

inside our room (in the loft) at 430am

skyb’s when east meets west: episode 7
you would probably have remembered that episode 7 was published for the world to hear.

if you’ve heard about it, then you would probably wanna see what happens behind the scene!

during pre-production
1-benlai showing his inner-FMS student
benlai letting his inner FMS student out.
notice he’s holding a nikon D90

2-proud nikon D90 owner

and i was playing around with my (well, technically it’s my dad’s) canon dslr :D

4-idea generation
this is the idea generation stage: when everyone looks stunned. which, in fact, they’re in their own imagination land, trying to think of content

“i can’t believe my lines are so retarded”

during recording
everyone looked serious. when someone made a mistakes, sounds of frustrations were obvious.
after all, studio 33 (aka my room) was so small that everyone would know if someone farted.

3-podcasting away
yuhong trying to say his lines

5-away in podcast land
when the record button is pushed, there is no going back. whatever we say will be recorded. whatever mistakes we make, it can be heard

thus, everyone in the room were quiet, serious and fully concentrated.

AND, when someone makes a mistake
6-podcast frustration
frustration will run high. especially when a segment requires more than 5 takes to complete, because of the mistakes we’re making

post-production
after a good day of podcasting (which can easily take about 2 hours to record for a 6-minute recording), we went to east coast park to enjoy ourselves

founders day 2009
well, it’s self-explanatory. in other words, it’s the prize giving ceremony

while we were up on stage,
FD-1
i was telling karl not to trip!

FD-2
you could see fear in karl’s eyes :D

FD-3
very soon, it was my turn. it was then my plan to scare karl backfired.
i was scared of tripping in front of hundreds of people (including students, parents, teachers and the guest of honour) :x

FD-4
me shaking hands with the guest of honour. thankfully, i didn’t trip :D

FD-5
mrs yeo, my amaths teacher for 3years. she was the teacher who believed i could do it – not only in amaths but in other subjects.

she was one of my sources of inspiration :D

FD-6
the other teachers who supported me. (from left to right: mdm tan, karl, myself, jason ang)

FD-7
and friends (well, 2 of them) that supported me all the way. of course, i supported them too :D

teachers day celebrations
we went back to school, again, to visit the teachers who are still around, teaching.

TD-1-never change
some things just never change

TD-2-kasheef pose
everyone! do the kasheef thing!

TD-3-in the staff room
TD-4-dont work too hard
a very important learning point after a trip to the staff room (read the words highlighted in yellow)

TD-5-reminiscing the primary school days
do you remember those days when we were all so small and the secondary school boys were tall? well, jonald cant. he’s too tall to do any reminiscing heh

AND THAT’S IT, THE END OF THE POST. well, there’s more but i decided not to post it up. i’ll be back soon with these photos!

oh and, thanks and congrats for making to the end :D

until then!
