okay fine, so i fail at the mastercard ‘priceless’ thingy, but i meant what i said the satisfaction of hearing all the campers going “I ENJOYED RED CAMP! THE SLs WERE GREAT…” it makes me feel happy and makes me feel that my time was well spent working on RC6

our bmgt elearning assignment required us to travel to a supermarket and gather some information about the place. my team and i (consisting of weiting, raymond and hong loon), went to the courts warehouse at tampines

before moving off, we had lunch at pizza hut! when we got the bill, weiting was like, “i got a packet full of gold coins, maybe we can give them then they can give them as loose change”

and so, that’s why you see 2 or 3 stacks of gold coins, with weiting laughing away. boy was it embarrassing when the waitress was counting the coins in front of our very eyes

one year on

gosh i’m so happy i passed final theory! come to think that i never really studied as much as i did for basic theory, i’m just glad that i passed.

to add on to my woes, today was the longest day i’ve ever had. i had lessons from 9am to 3pm, which followed by a driving lesson at 425pm. the time in between? well, it was just enough time to get me from school to ubi driving centre

my driving instructor was bitching about how fast i release the clutch and the way i brake. but hey! it’s part and parcel of learning yeah i’m sure every new student will experience this…

red camp is coming up tomorrow!

i can still remember the day when i completed the last paper of O levels. the moment it ended, i stood up and started celebrating. “the war was over”

well, those were the days i’m feeling lethargic, but the feeling will pass heh. i love poly and the people i’m mixing around with. they’re awesome in every way.

i’m back!

hoohey! i’m back!!

well, the actual reason why i’m posting this is because i haven’t been updating my blog for the longest time now – not because i’ve lost interested in blogging but because i’ve been too caught up with work.

TCP Camp 5 ended yesterday and i was helping out with logistics! it’s totally been a memorable one for me the logi team – logi, zhiliang, dalton…they’re all awesome! especially zhiliang (when rhordan asked him to say something intelligent, he said something else HAHA)

nonetheless, one of the privileges being in logi is that we get special treatment. while others ate camp food, we ate…

well, we ate mcdonalds on the first day. and during lunch unlimited, we ate the “high class” food without feeling guilty

of course, i worked my ass off during the 3 days. i’m lacking sleep, i’m in pain but i’m missing the fun with the team! if there’s 2 things i learnt…they are:

1. crocodiles love blowing their whistles (with reference to the moat game)
2. the grass isn’t always greener on the other side
