i’m staring at this blog post wondering what i should blog about. i don’t have much photos to show…that’ll mean this whole post has to be in text form. and it’ll be random. :\

the past 2 weeks has been really chaotic for me. with ideawerkz activities taking up most of my free time, i’d feel supremely tired by the time i get home. but hey! these are things that make my life real exciting

although there are lots of things for me to learn, there are certain things that i don’t wanna leave behind.

there are certain friends that i haven’t contacted in a while in the midst of this chaos. i really hope that time will free up when november ends.

i’ll try and make sure the next blog post has photos so that i’ve something to talk about okay? :D

back from hiatus, from tanjung pinang

i’m sorry if you’ve been typing “www.shaunie.sg” into the address bar only to realise that i’ve not been regularly updating my blog :( you see, life has been so hectic and……..

i could give you a million excuses, but i’ll just cut the crap and make the effort to blog okay? :)

during the deepavali weekend, i went over to tanjung pinang with some of my friends!

we only had one purpose going there: to relax and enjoy ourselves!

and maybe camwhoring too haha

the travel agent said that the place was singapore in the 1960s.

it did bring back some of those memories (well, of the 1990s at least)

when we got to the hotel, boy were we astonished! there was a significant difference between the hotel landscape and the ‘mama shop’ directly opposite the hotel! it was just…different. (i didn’t take any photos! sorry!)

ain’t the place pretty? :D

we only had 2 days and 1 night to spend over there. so, we tried to camwhore as much as possible!

even though 2 days and 1 night might seem or sound really short, it wasn’t! it felt like a really long trip. we enjoyed ourselves there – the hotel service was excellent. we couldn’t have asked for more!

on the return journey, it wasn’t all frowns.

and we began camwhoring again

i really enjoyed my time spent over there. i enjoyed the company of the people that i treasure quite deeply and the hospitality of the indonesians over there. i love the country, the place, the people.

i wanna travel more! :D
